Gallery Photographer.Ru was founded in March 2007. It is an official representative of the legendary Magnum Photos Agency in Russia. The gallery shows the most enthralling and innovative photography in a context of the contemporary art, laying special emphasis on working with young promising domestic names. It is located on the territory of the WINZAVOD – Contemporary Art Center. At the moment the Documentary Photography Support Foundation and the Gallery.Photographer.Ru realize a long-term program Origins of Contemporary Russian Photography.
