For the past 17 years, ART MOSCOW has proven to be the best contemporary art fair in Russia with participating galleries from over 14 countries. ART MOSCOW is an exclusive meeting place for art dealers, collectors, museum representatives, press and art lovers.

ART MOSCOW is also strong on parallel programs such as seminars, talks, large scale art projects, solo presentations and special artistic projects.

ART MOSCOW 2013 will include an exclusive program for international art collectors. Special VIP events will be arranged in connection with other art events in Moscow.

In 2013 ART Moscow is a parallel event of the 5^th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art. During its last edition, over 80 artists from 33 countries took part in main Biennale project. For its 5^th edition the Biennale will be “inspiring and innovative”, in the words of its curator, Catherine de Zegher (art director of the 8^th Biennale of Sydney, curator of the Australian Pavilion at the 55^th Venice Biennale).

Participating in ART MOSCOW this year will make you a part of exhilarating artistic atmosphere, with exhibitions and events spread all over Moscow cultural venues, with late in the night openings and special exhibitions.

ART MOSCOW is now accepting applications for its 17^th edition that will take place on September 18^th – 22^nd, 2013. Applications for the main exhibition space are open to art galleries, art magazines and cultural institutions.

ART MOSCOW – NEW PLATFORM IN 2013 (SPACE FOR EMERGING GALLERIES AND PROJECTS)

This year ART MOSCOW is opening a NEW PLATFORM sector aimed at supporting alternative and emerging galleries and artists in the contemporary artistic scene. The selection criteria are the following:

• galleries, studios, institutions or other artist’s organizations, in operation for less than 5 years
• that have not participated in ART MOSCOW before (on a commercial basis)
• original works of art with a maximum value of 5000 EUR (editions and multiples can be accepted)
• a minimum of three artists to be shown on a stand
